The Cradle of Aviation presents: evenings with luminaries series

The first in our series of evenings with luminaries from the fields of literature, the performing arts and sports who will share in an intimate fashion, their passion for their craft.

Mr. DeMille will discuss his distinguished career as well as his recently released new book, “Wild Fire.” He has been hailed as one the finest mystery writers of his time with novels such as: “By the Rivers of Babylon,” “Cathedral,” “The Talbot Odyssey,” “Word of Honor,” “The Charm School,” “The Gold Coast,” “The General’s Daughter,” “Spencerville,” “Plum Island,” “The Lion’s Game,” “ Up Country,” and “Night Fall.”

A life long resident of Long Island, Mr. DeMille has been a good friend of the Cradle of Aviation and actually features the museum in his novel “The Lion’s Game”. He has generously given of his time to many worthy charities and we are thrilled to have him serve as the first in our “An Evening With…” series. All proceeds from the evening will support the museums many educational and preservation programs.


Copies of Mr. DeMille’s new book “Wild Fire” will be available for
purchase which Mr. DeMille will be happy to sign.
