The mission of the Cradle of Aviation Museum is twofold: to engage all ages in the exploration of our aerospace heritage by preserving and displaying Long Island’s contribution to air and space travel; and to inspire, motivate, and stimulate our youth to be the next generation of aerospace scientists and engineers. We achieve our mission through our growing exhibit collection and our ever expanding educational programs.
Long Island STEM Career Expo 2023
The Cradle of Aviation Museum and Education Center is excited to announce the return of its Annual STEM Career Expo.
The Career Expo is open to all Long Island schools. The purpose of the event is to expose as many 10th and 11th-grade students to the various careers and applications in STEM disciplines especially here on Long Island.
This unique experience fosters early connections and raises awareness of the diverse career possibilities available to students.
