5,000+ attendees are expected at this year's Sumaq Peruvian Food Festival which will be filled with more variety of food and entertainment for everyone! Peruvian Cuisine is steadily conquering the palates of everyone around the world, including top chefs. The gentle blend of ancient Incan cooking practices and immigrant traditions, from places such as Spain, Africa, China and Japan, have created one of the world's most unique and delicious cuisines. SUMAQ, which means “delicious” in the indigenous language of Quechua, is a 2 day festival in New York highlighting the variety of Peruvian cuisine and culture. Guests have the opportunity to enjoy a family fun filled day with a variety of Peruvian cuisine, Peruvian cultural entertainment, live cooking demonstrations by famous Peruvian chefs.

Desde hace tres años en que iniciamos el proyecto Sumaq Peruvian Food Festival, motivados por mostrar un nuevo aspecto de nuestra cultura peruana en el rubro de su variado arte culinario, conocido a nivel mundial como el Boom de la Gastronomía Peruana, y gracias a la masiva respuesta de nuestros visitantes, es que hemos logrado una reconocida y esperada presencia con nuestro Festival ganando un espacio como organización en los distintos públicos que forman parte de la gran comunidad, no solo la peruana, que nos visita fervientemente cada año.
