Garden City, NY – September 1, 2024 – The Cradle of Aviation Museum is proud to be part of Long Island's Manufacturing Month celebration. Manufacturing Day (MFG Day), traditionally held on the first Friday in October, expands on Long Island into an entire month of activities, including direct interactions with industry professionals and tours of innovative manufacturing plants.
Designatronics, a leader in precision mechanical components, will host the official Kick-Off Event on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. Organized by the Manufacturing Day Planning Community (MDPC), this event will bring together industry leaders, government officials, and educators to officially launch the month-long observance.
A key goal of Manufacturing Month is to bridge the gap between industry and education, showcasing great career opportunities in manufacturing on Long Island. The event will highlight regional leaders' collective commitment to strengthening the local manufacturing sector. After the ceremony, Designatronics will feature its innovative talent pipeline efforts to foster the next generation of manufacturing professionals.
